September & October 2013 Updates

10th Oct 13

The last two months have seen a lot of work put into version 3.0 of the Orbit eCommerce module. There is probably still another couple of months work to do but we are releasing an early phase one edition to select clients for testing. The free upgrade is leaps and bounds above the current version and incoroprates many of the standard features you would expect from an eCommerce solution.

As part of this months updates we are also proud to release our new Image Slideshow module. This module is a free upgrade from the older Basic Image Gallery module. This update brings many new features including a user friendly 'drag n drop' method for images, assigning images to specific pages, adding captions as well as video!

Here is a full list of updates for the past two months:

  • Blog
Made a number of tweaks to better suit how Google crawls the blog links. Also made some tweaks in the dashboard area.
  • Formmail
Tweaked submit buttons to stop double clicking from potentially submitting the form twice
  • Image Slideshow
Major update! This module has been upgraded to provide a much more streamlined process for managing slideshows on the website. New facilities include: Adding images to only appear on specific pages, custom ordering, and captions for sites that want them. More features coming soon including videos.
  • Imaging Library
Improved stability when resizing some images
