October 2016 Updates

27th Oct 16

There has been a real flurry of activity in the Orbit development team throughout October. With the huge push these days from the major web browsers to go secure, and thanks to the amazing uptake of our clients to purchase SSL certificates, we're delighted to now have Orbit updated to run in full SSL mode as well. This month's roll out contains all the various little tweaks to make this happen which is why you would have received more updates than normal this month. We're happy with how everything has been running internally and are now trialling it on a few clients sites. If anyone else is interested then please send us an email and we'll include your site in the test.

We've also completed the upgrade of more modules into the new Orbit 1.7 theme: Google Maps & Banner Ads. If you have those modules installed on your site then go check them out.

Finally, our form designer module now has a very useful export to CSV function. To use this you can go into any form within Orbit, click on the submissions tab, and you'll see a new export button on the right. You can select what fields you wish to export as well as set a date range.

Here are some of the other noteworthy updates that have occurred over the last month:

Content Management System
Added support to switch Orbit into full SSL mode for compatible websites

Banner Ad
Updated interface to match new Orbit 1.7 theme and to have SSL support

Google Maps
Updated interface to match new Orbit 1.7 theme and to have SSL support

Form Designer

Files Library

If you have any questions on the future road map of Orbit, or have any support questions, please feel free to send them through via the support area once logged into the CMS.
